Mare’s Art (‘Mare’ pronounced like the horse) grew from my background in graphic design and my desire to create more freely. I believe art—whatever form it takes—has the power to connect us and remind us of what truly matters.
Much of my work centers on nature, often featuring flowers or landscapes that encourage respect for the Earth. My mixed-media pieces combine acrylic paint, textured papers, and various three-dimensional materials to inviting a reach out and touch experience.
You can often find me creating commissioned portraits of people and pets, as well as custom paintings of meaningful places—whether it’s a favorite landscape, hike, or special location.
I hope my artwork offers a brief pause in your day, a reminder to notice and cherish the color and texture that surround us. I create from my home studio in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado.
